I offer a research and design service, wherein I create an artists rendition of your re-enactment "persona" or theatrical character, using my own personal library of published books and primary sources.

For re-enactment clothing, many things have to be taken into account to ensure historical accuracy

• Year

•Country

• Region within the country

• What dye plants are available in that region

•Occupation of persona

•Social class of persona; determining what access they would have to fabrics or dyes from outside their local area

•Sumptuary Laws of the time

This can take countless hours of research; evaluating trustworthy sources, translating primary ones and sometimes even purchasing expensive research books.

My service cuts this all out, saving you a great deal of time and money. This can be especially beneficial for new re-enactors who are still finding their feet in interpretation. I can even provide a list of retailers for historically accurate materials.
